Oral Surgery
Cloverdale Crossing Dental Group provides several different types of oral surgery procedures that can help improve the overall health and appearance of your smile.
Why is oral surgery part of my treatment plan?
When bone or gum tissues are deficient or diseased, in most cases we are able to replace these tissues. This enhances both the function and the aesthetics of your smile.
We have a number of methods at our disposal to replace what was lost, such as synthetic graft materials, bone and skin from tissue banks or borrowed tissue from elsewhere in the mouth.
When diseased or excess tissue needs to be removed, we can use our diode surgical laser to perform many soft tissue procedures with a minimal need for anesthetic and no need for stitches.
Do you offer sedation options for oral surgery?
To make surgery as comfortable as possible, we offer our patients various sedation options, such as local anesthetic, nitrous oxide, or IV sedation. Read more about our sedation options.
The range of oral surgery procedures we offer includes:
- Dental extractions including wisdom tooth removal
- Removal of cysts, tumors and abscesses
- Diagnostic biopsies
- Bone grafting
- Soft tissue grafting
- Exposure of un-erupted or impacted teeth for orthodontics
- Periodontal (gum) therapeutic surgery
- Periodontal plastic surgery
- Removal of excess soft tissue including frenectomies
- Surgical crown lengthening
- Endodontic surgery (root canals)

At Cloverdale Crossing Dental Group, we offer multiple sedation options for patients who are undergoing complex dental procedures, or who feel anxious about visiting the dentist. View Our Sedation Options »
